Did you know ........The Session was originally a national open mic venue done via "conference calls" in 2004 long before internet radio venues ........It's original hosts have includedNyne Elementz, NuEshe, Geovanni Marcel, Tammy Jones, Dain Brammage & Dawn Johnson. ........In 2008 The Session also had a special series in Atlanta, GA and was hosted by Seria Mills! ........In a 2010 joint effort with Talk Show Host Epiphany Castro, The Session LIVE West!!! opened it's mic in Oakland, CA at the birthplace of the Black Panther Party, Dorseys Locker! On the very same stage that Bobby Seals and Huey Newton spit fire. ........It became The Session LIVE!!! in Columbia, SC in 2009 cohosted by The multitalented artist, Spiryt Tha Tattoopoet & Acclaimed Spoken Word artist Max Parthas. Soon to celebrate 5 years at Art Bar The Session LIVE!!! has become Columbia, SC's most popular Open Mic & Spoken Word feature showcase with a packed house every month. Many credit Tribal Raine's monthly FREE buffet as the reason! ........Following our tradition of innovation, Prysmatic Dreams has been streaming The Session LIVE!!!! monthly to live audiences World Wide. ........It's eclectic, vibrant, comfortable, incredible, and has had it's stage graced by some of America's greatest poetic talents. ........If you've never been, make plans to go. ........Every Second Tuesday of the month @ RUE 77 at 1301 Assembly St Columbia, SC 9PM EST US ........The Session Live!!! ......
